Whatever you think - Think the opposite: Paul Arden.

Look out of the window and whatever catches your eye, a bird, a television aerial,an old man on crutches or whatever, make that the solution to your problem. - Paul Arden.

Do not seek praise seek criticism.
Ask what doesn't work and what the problems are?
Only ask questions that will give you a usable answer.
Can you find fault with this?

Don't give a speech, put on a show.
Don't put on a running commentary, put on a show, people want to see the person behind the work.
4/5 design studios will be requested - the one chosen is whoever makes the best pitch.
Paul Arden book.

Astonish me. - Going to make you achieve what you want to achieve.
If you can't solve a problem its because you're playing by the rules.
think outside the box and in a different way.

Consider how work will appear in situ.

Consider presenting work in programs such as 3D MAX and Cinema 4d.
Make slides on fonts, colour swatches. hexadecimal codes etc.
How websites reformat on iphones and ipads etc, and do a site map.
